Job Description

Drives delivery vehicle and/or truck-trailer combination to transport material to customer sites. CDL driver operates vehicle weighing 26,000 lbs. or greater GVWR; vehicle 26,000 lbs. or greater towing a trailer that may exceed 10,000 lbs.

Responsibilities

1. Assists customers with unloading material safely and accurately, taking precautions to protect product and customer property.
2. Uses a hand-held device (except while driving) to ensure compliance with DVIR and HOS.
3. Verifies order details, maintains logs of deliveries including amounts, weights, mileage, and locations. Checks items against invoices for accuracy.
4. Acts as a customer service liaison, handles concerns, and helps resolve issues.
5. Maintains service logs and conducts pre/post trip inspections.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 21+ years of age
• Valid Class A CDL license
• Minimum of 1 year of driving experience; 2 years preferred
• Ability to pass MVR report and obtain DOT medical card
• Forklift certification
