Olympia Moving And Storage in Watertown, MA is seeking a CDL A Driver to join our team. You will serve as a mover/driver, loading and unloading, maintaining accurate inventories, and transporting shipments between warehouses, residences, and job sites.

The role requires a Class A CDL, at least 2 years of driving experience, and a current DOT medical card. We offer competitive hourly wages, overtime, benefits, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A driver’s license and at least 2 years of experience.
• Experience with the moving industry is a plus; supervisory experience is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to drive 26-foot trucks, tractor-trailers, and spot 20- and 40-foot containers.
• Physical capability to lift, load, and unload heavy items.
• Positive driving record and current DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mover/driver, performing all required lifting, packing, loading, and unloading of vehicle as required.
• Prepare a complete and accurate inventory of household contents, office goods, or furniture as needed.
• Transport shipments to and between warehouses, residences, commercial job sites, and military bases.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned truck and maintain logs.
• Communicate effectively and work as a team; provide guidance to crew in line with the Olympia Way.
• Early morning dispatch hours and flexible scheduling required.

Responsibilities

• Apply reading, writing, and mathematical skills to calculate weights, measurements, volumes, and distances.
• Transport shipments to and between warehouses, residences, commercial job sites, and military bases.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of assigned truck, ensure travel worthiness, and assist in preparation of the vehicle before departure.
• Maintain logs/ELDs and complete required paperwork.
• Communicate effectively and work as a team; provide guidance and organization to crew in line with the Olympia Way.
• Early morning dispatch hours and flexible scheduling required.
• Complete a background check, maintain a positive driving record, and keep a current DOT medical card and other requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid CDLA license.
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably in moving.
• Ability to drive 26‑foot trucks, tractor‑trailers, and spot 20‑ and 40‑foot containers.
• Physical capability to lift, load, and unload heavy items.
• Strong communication, numerical, and organizational skills.
• Positive driving record, clean background, and DOT medical card.
