Job summary

Old-Castle-Building-Envelop (OBE) is seeking a Class A Driver to transport and unload glass and metal products to customers, while interacting daily with clients and reporting to the Fleet Manager. This role rewards safety consciousness and flexibility with shift start and end times.

You will load and unload, secure loads, perform routine vehicle checks, meet DOT requirements, and maintain clear delivery documentation, contributing to a dependable fleet and strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• Must comply with all DOT requirements including an unexpired Medical Examiners Certificate.
• Flexibility with start / end times.
• Must be able to read and interpret mathematical measurements of glass sizes and delivery schedules as well as effectively use a tape measure.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Good customer relations and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Day to day activities will consist of handling and loading/unloading glass and/or metal products, load securement, daily pre and post trip of vehicles, multiple deliveries, and customer service.
• Unloading could include handling loose, crated, and racked glass, metal and associated products, as well as, operating boom cranes.
• Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks, and adherence to all DOT regulations, safety policies, and procedures, including Critical Safety Rules, are essential functions of your job.

TheClass A Driveris focused on the responsible transporting and unloading of product to customers, while interacting daily with customers to help resolve any issues that may arise and reports to theFleet Manager.
