Old-Castle-Building-Envelop in Fremont, CA is seeking a Regional Class A Driver to transport and unload glass and metal products, interact with customers, and report to the Fleet Manager. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and strong customer service to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must comply with DOT requirements including an unexpired Medical Examiners Certificate.

• City driving experience.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements of glass sizes and delivery schedules and use a tape measure.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Good customer relations and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle and load/unload glass and/or metal products, load securement, daily pre/post trip inspections.
• Unload could include handling loose, crated, and racked glass and metal, and operate boom cranes.
• Attendence, safety compliance with DOT rules, and safety policies.

What You'll Get to Do

The Regional Class A Driveris focused on the responsible transporting and unloading of product to customers, while interacting daily with customers to help resolve any issues that may arise and reports to theFleet Manager.

This role is perfect for an individual whois safety conscious & self-motivated and flexible with shift start and end time. A vital member of theFleet Department,this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Day to day activities will consist of handling and loading/unloading glass and/or metal products, load securement, daily pre and post trip of vehicles, multiple deliveries, and customer service
• Unloading could include handling loose, crated, and racked glass, metal and associated products, as well as, operating boom cranes
• Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks, and adherence to all DOT regulations, safety policies, and procedures, including Critical Safety Rules,are essential functions of your job.

What We Are Looking For

• Must be in compliance with all DOT requirements including an unexpired Medical Examiners Certificate

Position Pay Range

$31 - $33 USD
