Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is hiring Class A drivers to load and deliver windows to customers from our Chicago area operations. You will operate bobtail and tractor-trailer units, hook/unhook trailers, and maintain dispatch schedules while adhering to laws and safety standards.

We offer a competitive $30–$35 per hour wage, a $1,500 hiring bonus, and a strong benefits package including health coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and paid vacation/holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of commercial truck driving experience.
• Must have Class A license, current medical card, clean DMV record and good work references.
• Certified to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Preference given to applicants with commercial truck driving experience or educational equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver windows to customers.
• Drive both a bobtail truck and tractor-trailer.
• Hook and unhook trailers.
• Able to pull and/or push up to 100lbs.
• Operate in accordance with all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
• Maintain accurate record keeping, meet dispatch schedules.
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
