Job summary

Clean Harbors in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a range of trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs, with duties on and off site for hazardous waste cleanup. Hours are Monday–Friday days with weekends off, local runs and occasional overnight.

Local travel for an out-of-state Clean Harbors Academy is required, with paid training at your normal rate and travel accommodations provided.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Willingness to travel for academy training and occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to perform driving and non-driving duties on hazardous waste cleanup sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure safety protocols.
• Support on-site activities during hazardous waste cleanup projects.

Job description

Clean Harbors in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks/work equipment at our customer sites; some of the vehicles operated include vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. This role is responsible for performing driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean-up.

Hours would be Monday though Friday days, weekends off. Local runs with the occasional overnight

This position requires attendance with an in-person Clean Harbors Academy out of State. as part of your onboarding and training. Attendance is mandatory. Clean Harbors provides airfare, hotel accommodations, transportation to/from the Academy, breakfast and lunch, and a $38 nightly per diem. Academy training is paid at your normal rate. Candidates must be able to travel and attend the full 2 week Academy to be eligible for this position.
