Job summary

NOVO Health Services operates a healthcare linen facility in Atlanta, seeking a Class A CDL driver who can make quick decisions and communicate effectively with team members and customers. The role requires adherence to safety regulations and reliable daily operations at the facility.

The candidate will deliver linen products, manage carts, and coordinate with plant managers and team leaders while maintaining cleanliness and vehicle readiness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry.
• Previous experience as a Driver required.
• Clean driving record.
• Class A CDL required.
• Ability to work in a noisy fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect finished carts and roll them from Load Building to back dock.
• Load the delivery truck by pushing carts onto the truck.
• Deliver clean linen products to customers.
• Transport soiled linen back to plant for processing.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA and safety procedures.

Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Class A CDL Driver, at our Atlanta Healthcare Laundry facility. We are looking for someone who is confident in decision making, can act quickly, and has excellent communication skills. The Successful Candidate

• Collect finished carts:
• Roll the carts from Load Building area to back dock.
• Load the delivery truck by pushing the carts onto the back of the appropriate truck.
• Deliver clean linen products to customers.
• Transport soiled linen back to plant.
• Follow all federal, state, and local requirements according to D.O.T. rules and regulations.
• Follow all OSHA rules as applies to blood borne pathogens.
• Coordinate daily activities with Transportation, Plant Managers, and Team Leaders.
• Must be able to adapt to change and unscheduled events.
• Maintain vehicle, preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and disinfecting after transporting

• Will work rotating shifts.
• Understand, observe and adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Assist and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Class A CDL required.
• Clean driving record.
• High School Education, GED and formal education / training preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and the willingness to learn new computer applications.
• Good analytical skills to be able to determine number of carts required for orders.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry
• Previous experience as a Driver required.
• Ability to work in a noisy fast paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and reach for individual items for long periods of time during loading and unloading of truck.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds during loading and unloading of truck.
• Constant reaching for individual items and stacks of items during loading and unloading of truck.
• Ability to push or pull a cart that may weigh 300-400 pounds for up to 60 yards.
• Demonstrated customer service and organization skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work in and out of weather conditions.
