Job summary

US FOODS® Driver Check-In Clerk position is part of our warehouse team in Rock Hill, SC. You will receive and verify driver-returned products and invoices, apply correct codes for division P&L, and support accurate data for timekeeping and credits.

Daily tasks include RF scanning, returning cases to stock, and processing customer credits while maintaining product integrity. The role requires strong math, clear communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Familiarity with warehouse and delivery procedures preferred.
Some Inventory Control/Finance experience preferred.
Motorized pallet jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Verify returned product for accurate reason codes and ensure data reflects reports.
Check temperature of returned product to maintain quality.
Return cases to stock, perform RF scanning, and issue customer credits.
Compile Xata and Kronos reports for time and attendance accuracy.
Process driver collections for accuracy in money collection.

Main Ingredients of the Job!

As a US FOODS® Driver Check-In Clerk, you will receive and verify that all driver-returned products and invoices are processed accurate with correct accounting codes for the division P&L. Our Driver Check-In Clerks pay rate is $23 an hour with additional incentive available based on experience.

Verify returned product for accurate reason codes (mispicks, driver shorts, refusals) to insure account reports reflect accurate data.
Verify returned product is within temperature guidelines to maintain product integrity.
Main duty will be returning cases back to stock, RF Scanning and computer work, issuing Customer credits.
Compile Xata and Kronos reports to verify accurate time and attendance reporting.
Process driver collections for accuracy in collection of money.

Schedule: Sunday- Thursday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM or FINISH

Pay rate: $23

What you bring to the table:

Education/Training

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Related Experience

Familiarity with warehouse & delivery procedures preferred.
Some Inventory Control /Finance experience background preferred.
Motorized pallet jack experience preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, basic computer skills.
Must be able to resolve routine problems of limited scope.

Physical Requirements

Frequent, sitting, standing and walking, occasional lift up to 90 pounds, job requires handling cases in low to the ground and high-level slots
Must be able to operate a computer and perform filing.
Be able to work in different Temperature areas ranging from -10 +95 degrees
Work some holidays

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $20.00 and $26.86 per hour.

This role will also eligible for overtime.
