Job summary

Imperial Brady is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver to join our growing team in a role focused on accurate and timely deliveries with top-tier safety and customer service standards.

The position supports warehouse functions, including order preparation, loading/unloading, and inventory management, with opportunities to contribute across the supply chain. This full-time role requires a valid CDL and a strong safety record.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of CDL driving experience; delivery route experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Age 21 or older.
  • Valid CDL and safe driving history; Class A or B required.
  • Ability to obtain DOT medical certification and pass road test.
  • HazMat or Air Brake Endorsement preferred.
  • Prior forklift certification preferred, or ability to obtain.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills for transportation systems and data entry.
  • Basic math to verify orders and reconcile delivery documents.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and overtime as needed.
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a straight truck, box truck or CMV (26,001+ pounds) to transport products to customer locations on the assigned route.
  • Learn and optimize routes, ensure correct order fulfillment, and maintain documentation (BOLs, manifests, packing slips, HazMat summaries).
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections (DVIR), report issues, and maintain cleanliness inside and out of the vehicle.
  • Follow OSHA, DOT, FMCSA and company policies; complete safety training and HazMat handling.
  • Wear company apparel and communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management.
  • Take ownership of customer needs with speed and urgency; maintain high level of service.
  • Assist with preparing orders, loading/unloading, stocking inventory, and general warehouse tasks.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a CDL driver, delivery route experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Age 21 or older
  • Valid commercial driver’s license and safe driving history; Class A or B required
  • Ability to obtain a DOT medical certification and pass a road test and Clearinghouse Query
  • HazMat or Air Brake Endorsement, preferred
  • Prior forklift certification preferred, or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills to operate transportation systems, dispatch applications or perform data entry tasks
  • Basic math skills to verify orders or reconcile delivery documents
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and work overtime as needed
  • Physical Requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required lift up to 50lbs and push/pull 100lbs. Regularly sit in a truck and drive a company vehicle. Ability to walk, climb, kneel, stoop and balance frequently.
Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this role is $23.00- $26.00 per hour. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
