Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

1. Driving and Deliveries
2. Deliver goods to job sites and customers’ shops safely and on time.
3. Ensure all delivery documentation is complete, including customer delivery tickets, bills of lading, hazardous materials paperwork, time logs, route sheets, and all other DOT and company required documents.
4. Obtain signatures at each delivery.
5. If required, enter closed facilities and offload merchandise.
6. Load and unload packages using proper safety techniques.
7. Maintain professionalism and courtesy with customers and colleagues.
8. Maintain a satisfactory driving record and obey traffic laws.
9. Perform warehouse roles as instructed during down periods.

1. Vehicle Maintenance
2. Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
3. Report maintenance issues, including tires, oil, filters, and other regular maintenance needs.

2. Maintain knowledge of the delivery area.
3. Attend all required meetings, training, and safety sessions.
4. Stay updated on current transport regulations.

Required Certifications And Abilities

• Valid driver license – Class A or B (current).
• Hazmat certification (current).
• Medical card (current).
• Certified to operate hi-low equipment.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Manual dexterity required for handling materials and equipment.
