Job summary

Gold Star Foods is hiring Class A drivers at our Pendergrass, GA location to support daily school deliveries. You will operate modern tractors with lift gates and pallet jacks, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain a clean driving record.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with 45–55 hours per week; starting pay is $27.50 per hour. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Driver's License.
• DOT Medical Certificate.
• Proficiency in driving tractor-trailer.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug, background screenings, and fingerprinting.
• Motor Vehicle Record (10 years) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform route deliveries to K-12 schools.
• Operate Peterbilt and Freightliner tractors with lift gates and pallet jacks.
• Use a dolly for locations without docks and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean and accident-free driving record.

• Perform route deliveries to K-12 schools in Northern CaliforniaDrive newer Peterbilt and Freightliner trucks equipped with lift gates and both electric and manual pallet jacksUse a 2-wheel dolly for deliveries to locations without docks. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Maintain a clean and accident-free driving record.
