Job summary

Inotiv is seeking a professional Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Frederick, MD, with routes across the East Coast. This full-time role includes 2-3 overnights weekly, a 40-hour guarantee, and benefits comprehensive within 30 days of hire.

You will safely transport research products, load/unload cargo, and maintain logs while upholding animal welfare standards and professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience (5 years preferred).
• Live animal transport experience preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions in English.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A vehicles over 26,000 lbs GVW.
• Load and unload cargo; verify and deliver loads on time.
• Complete logs and transportation paperwork accurately.
• Inspect vehicle and perform basic maintenance pre-trip.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and rest periods.
• Drive safely in all conditions and routes.
• Collaborate in team driving and handle animals humanely.
