Job summary

The Marshes of Skidaway Island is seeking a PRN CDL Driver to transport residents to appointments and activities. This role offers a $20.00 per hour wage with a minimum 4-hour shift for reliability.

Responsibilities include taking residents to offsite events, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and assisting with errands. GED or high school diploma, valid GA CDL with passenger endorsement, and one year of passenger driving experience required; fluent English communication encouraged.

We are currently looking for a hospitality-orientedPRN CDL Driver(as needed)to provide transportation for our residents to appointments and group activities. This is a perfect position for someone who has experience as a school bus driver, a tour bus/trolley driver, or experience as a ride share driver.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Taking residents to appointments, errands and/or activities as scheduled.
• Driving residents to offsite activities and events.
• May assist in running errands for administration.
• When needed, grocery shopping for residents.
• Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out.
• Transport vehicle to service locations for routine preventive maintenance as scheduled by supervisor.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively and perform simple arithmetic.
• Possession of a valid Georgia Driver License and Commercial Driver License (CDL) with passenger endorsement is required. Must have and maintain a good driving record.
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a driver with passengers.
• Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly and helpful attitude with the residents and team members at all times.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, stretch and squat to load and unload cargo areas and assist residents in and out of the vehicles.
• Must have excellent driving skills and the ability to handle vehicles on wet and/or slippery roads an in inclement weather.
