Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a CDL A or B Driver to coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites in a safe and efficient manner.

The role requires at least one year of CDL driving experience and a valid state license, with forklift certification preferred. Expect Monday–Friday shifts, the potential to use a truck-mounted forklift, and strict adherence to DOT regulations while maintaining accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience with an active state CDL license.
• Forklift certification is preferred or required where applicable.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments at jobsites.
• Follow DOT regulations and maintain safety standards.
• Ensure manifests and paperwork are accurate.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A CDL Driver at White Cap…

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Spanish language proficiency
