Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a CDL A or B Driver to join our logistics team in Fort Myers, FL. This on-site role coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites across the region, ensuring timely shipments and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of CDL driving experience and valid state license.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Forklift certification is preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites.
• May operate a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments.
• Follow DOT regulations and maintain safety.
• Ensure manifests and paperwork are accurate.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders.

A CDL Driver at White Cap…

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Spanish language proficiency
