Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a CDL A or B Driver in Escondido, CA. You will coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites while complying with DOT regulations and safety standards.

The role may involve using a truck-mounted forklift, maintaining accurate paperwork, and supporting warehouse tasks. California compensation is posted with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or B CDL with relevant endorsements for the equipment operated.
• Two years of commercial driving experience with FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments at jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations and maintains safety as a priority.
• Ensures manifests and paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders.
• Performs other duties as needed.

A CDL Driver at White Cap…

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Spanish language proficiency
