Job summary

White Cap is seeking a CDL A or B Driver to coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites. The role may involve using a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments and requires adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of CDL driving experience and the appropriate state license; forklift certification is preferred. The position is on-site in California with attractive shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL license with valid endorsements for operation.
• Minimum of 1 year CDL driving experience.
• Valid state license for the candidate's residence.
• Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.
• May operate a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments.
• Follows DOT regulations and maintains safety.
• Ensures manifests and paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Has a minimum of one year of CDL driving experience and required state license.
• Performs other duties as needed.

A CDL Driver at White Cap...

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites.

• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.

• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety.

• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.

• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.

• Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license.

• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)

• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred

• Forklift certification preferred

• Spanish language proficiency
