Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a CDL A or B Driver in California to coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites. The role may involve operating a truck-mounted forklift and requires adherence to DOT regulations and safety standards.

Accurate manifests and paperwork are essential, with additional duties as needed. Minimum one year of CDL driving experience with the appropriate state license is required; two years of driving experience and forklift certification are preferred, with

A CDL Driver at White Cap…

Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites. May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites. Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety. Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate. May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment. Has a minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience and required state license. Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Spanish language proficiency

$22.80-$31.90 Hourly
