Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and special events.
• Comfortable using cellphone and GPS apps.
• Provide transportation for Club Gabriel participants to and from their primary residences.
• Assist residents and participants with entering and exiting the vehicle safely when needed.
• Ensure passenger safety, comfort, and dignity throughout each trip.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate transportation records and schedules.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and organizational policies.
• Participate in the on-call and holiday rotation schedule.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, infection prevention, and workplace safety guidelines.

• Hours vary between 6a-5:30p
• Weekday schedule based on resident transportation needs
• 4 weekends a year

Position Summary

St. Paul Elder Services is seeking a dependable and compassionate Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments, activities, and special events, as well as provide transportation for Club Gabriel participants to and from their primary residences.
