Job description

Looking for a cool job in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team, great hours, and benefits? We are hiring for a full-time Driver/Warehouse Associate who will be responsible for inventory management in the warehouse and daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials.

Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.

The role's primary goal is to procure, process, dispatch, and deliver/transport products to customers and vendors for our established wholesale HVAC distributorship.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily loading and unloading of products
• Assisting with deliveries and transportation of HVAC freight and materials
• Receiving, inspecting, and stocking all merchandise
• Verifying received items against orders for accuracy
• Picking and verifying customer orders and preparing shipments
• Collecting invoices with signatures and returning them to the Sales Center Manager
• Maintaining daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance, reporting in/out times, and managing merchandise returns
• Using and maintaining OF devices appropriately
• Assisting with physical inventory and inventory control
• Reading customer, work, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved or shipped
• Providing excellent customer service to external customers

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16’ minimum box truck or stake bed truck
• Ability to multitask and meet daily deadlines
• Knowledge of LTL and full truckload logistics
• Effective communication skills for customer service
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company
• Must be 21 years or older
• Commitment to safety and customer service
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months warehouse experience, including forklift operation
• High School Diploma or GED
