Job Description

A Boom Truck driver is responsible for safely operating a boom truck and providing courteous waste removal services for customers on the designated route. Responsibilities include following safety rules, vehicle inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The driver must have good customer service, time management skills, and work well with a team.

Principal Responsibilities
  1. Operate a boom to collect leaf and limb piles.
  2. Perform vehicle inspections before and after shifts, report safety issues.
  3. Safely operate the truck along the route, following route sheets and maps.
  4. Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and report or tag waste accordingly.
  5. Maintain vehicle condition to ensure operational readiness.
  6. Complete required reports and documentation.
  7. Adhere to productivity standards and safety policies.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Two years of experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
  • Class B CDL.
  • Experience with boom trucks or waste removal services.
