Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Driver Back Haul professional to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of BEK products to customer locations.

You will perform deliveries on assigned routes, follow safety policies, and complete related paperwork to maintain efficient transportation operations. This role requires a CDL, DOT certification, and at least 1 year of route driving experience, with strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of route driving experience.
• DOT certification required.
• Valid Texas State Class A or B CDL license required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand and enforce regulatory guidelines.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and quality standards.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn new applications/proprietary software.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting of 50 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with multiple levels of organization.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently.

Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
