Job summary

PPG Quality in Casa Grande, AZ is seeking reliable, safety‑minded Drivers to move vehicles within the automotive manufacturing facility, navigate tight spaces, and ensure safe, efficient operations that keep production flowing smoothly.

You will work rotating 1st and 2nd shifts with hours from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, and must hold a valid driver’s license, commit to procedures, and collaborate with supervisors to meet daily manufacturing demands.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license required; experience moving vehicles in industrial environments is a plus.
• Strong commitment to safety and procedures.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Internal Vehicle Transport: Safely move vehicles from the inspection area to storage or lot areas within the facility.
• Navigating Tight Spaces: Maneuver vehicles in confined areas following safety guidelines.
• Collaboration: Coordinate vehicle movement with supervisors and team members to meet production needs.
• Vehicle Condition Monitoring: Inspect vehicles during transit and report damage or discrepancies.
• Compliance & Reporting: Follow facility procedures and document movements as required.
• Urgent Requests: Respond promptly to urgent directives regarding repositioning to support production.

PAY RATE: $19.50/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Internal Vehicle Transport: Safely move vehicles from the inspection area to assigned storage or lot areas within the facility.
• Navigating Tight Spaces: Maneuver vehicles expertly in confined areas while adhering to strict safety guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and team members to coordinate vehicle movement and address any operational demands.
• Vehicle Condition Monitoring: Inspect vehicles during transit, identifying and reporting any signs of damage or discrepancies.
• Compliance & Reporting: Adhere to facility procedures, internal safety protocols, and document vehicle movements as required.
• Urgent Requests: Respond promptly to urgent directives regarding vehicle repositioning to support production and safety needs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; prior experience maneuvering vehicles in confined or industrial environments preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to procedures.
• Familiarity with operating vehicles in a manufacturing or similar facility environment is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively on 1st or 2nd shift, displaying flexibility and reliability.
