Job summary

Revolution Foods is hiring a Delivery team member in the United States to load and unload trucks, keep products organized, and uphold food safety principles. You will interact with drivers, dispatch, and school partners, ensuring accuracy of deliveries and quality of products.

Responsibilities include assisting with loading routes, maintaining professional appearance, and communicating issues to management. The role requires basic food handling knowledge and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a food service environment with customer contact.
• Warehouse experience loading and unloading products.
• Food safety training or certifications helpful.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Job description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Is a supportive Delivery team member, loads and unloads delivery trucks, maintains product organization and maintains food safety principles. Maintains a high level of professional uniform standards and personal hygiene. Inspect fruits and snacks for quality and bring issues to the attention of the Driver or other manager. Also helps to bring equipment and coolers to drivers' truck to expedite the loading procedure. There will be times that you will be required to load various routes.

‐ Works closely with Dispatch Supervisor to bring the equipment closer to the vehicles to help the drivers expedite loading procedure and sometimes may accompany drivers on route deliveries, loading and unloading products and meals. Ensures customer orders against product deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality product.

‐ Engages with school and other representatives when making deliveries, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and communication. Maintains a positive disposition, conduct and present themselves in a respectful and polite manner at all times.

‐‐ Spot checks product upon delivery and unloading to ensure product quality.

‐ May pack and load products on to trucks, according to company specifications, and unload truck to meet customer / school program needs.

‐ Adheres to proper food handling requirements and temperature checks of chilled products such as milk, dairy, vegetables, etc.

‐ Maintains good communication co-workers and other team members.

‐ Manages the packing slips and delivery process, having customers sign for receipt of deliveries, noting any rejections or shorted products.

‐ They are encouraged to be problem solvers and promote Revolution Foods Core values and mission.

‐ Follows safe working practices loading and unloading. May use pallet jacks, dock plates, wheel chalks, track mileage, straps, handle pallets and plastic wrap.

‐ Keeps the truck interior and exterior organized, clean and sanitary throughout. Ensure proper care of equipment used to move or secure product inventory.

‐ Follows all required safe work and food safety practices. This includes vehicle safety precautions and wearing required PPE in designated areas. Corrects and/or reports any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.

‐ Completes a variety of routine admin tasks associated with the work.

‐ Performs other duties as needed.

Required Experience and Education

• Minimum 1 year experience working in a food service environment, with customer contact
• Experience working in a warehouse environment loading and unloading product
• Food Safety training or certifications helpful
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

• Able to work an early morning flexible schedule and cover varied shifts
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude and image
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter who can common routines
• Ability to move, lift and carry products up to 50 pounds
• Able to work as a team and individually to accomplish the work
• Knowledge of basic food handling requirements

Working Conditions

Work is within a factory setting, with chilled temperatures, and occasionally work is required within the freezer area. Routinely exposed to wet, damp and cold conditions. All PPE is provided.

Compensation: $18.00 to $18.47
