Job summary

Revolution Foods in Commerce, CA is seeking a delivery support team member to load and unload trucks, keep products organized, and uphold food safety during daily routes.

You will assist drivers, prepare equipment, verify orders, and interact with schools and customers with a professional, service-minded attitude. This role requires early shifts and physical lifting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a food service environment with customer contact.
• Experience in a warehouse environment loading and unloading product.
• Food safety training or certifications are helpful.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery trucks and maintain product organization and food safety.
• Maintain professional uniform standards and personal hygiene.
• Inspect fruits and snacks for quality and report issues to the Driver or other manager.
• Assist in bringing equipment and coolers to drivers’ trucks to expedite loading.
• Load various routes when required; work with Dispatch Supervisor to bring equipment closer to vehicles.
• Occasionally accompany drivers on route deliveries to load/unload products and meals; ensure order accuracy against deliveries.
• Engage with schools and representatives when delivering; demonstrate excellent customer service and communication; maintain a positive, respectful demeanor.
• Perform spot checks on product quality during delivery and unloading.
• Pack and load products onto trucks per company specifications; unload to meet customer or school program needs.
• Adhere to proper food handling requirements and temperature checks for chilled products.
• Maintain clear communication with co-workers and team members.
• Manage packing slips and the delivery process; obtain customer signatures and note rejections or shortages.
• Act as a problem solver and promote Revolution Foods core values and mission.
• Follow safe loading/unloading practices; may use pallet jacks, dock plates, straps, and other equipment.
• Keep truck interior and exterior organized, clean, and sanitary; care for equipment used to move or secure product inventory.
• Follow all safety and food safety practices; report or correct issues immediately; wear required PPE in designated areas.
• Complete routine administrative tasks related to the work; perform other duties as needed.

Working Conditions

• Factory setting with chilled temperatures; occasional work in freezer areas.
• Routinely exposed to wet, damp, and cold conditions; PPE provided.
• Prolonged standing, walking, and other physical activities; may lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

$18.00 to 18.47 per hour
