FedEx Freight in the United States seeks a driver to operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and straight trucks, and to perform non-driving duties such as forklift work and dock tasks. You will complete safety inspections and maintain logs, while communicating with Dispatch to manage delays, arrivals and equipment issues.
Starting pay is $25.64 per hour. The role requires a Class A CDL or CLP, adherence to DOT regulations, and the ability to lift heavy loads, work independently
Through education and driving skills development, become proficient in the operation of a tractor trailer combination, picking up and delivering trailers between service centers and/or turn-point locations. Responsibilities may include non-driving duties such as forklift operation and working the dock.
