Job Summary

The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of products to and from customers, vendors, and other Batteries Plus locations. This role ensures high levels of customer satisfaction through professional interaction, accurate order handling, and dependable transportation. The Driver also assists with general store operations, including inventory support and light assembly work as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and deliver products or supplies to customers and stores.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle safely in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Conduct daily inspection of vehicle (report maintenance and deficiencies immediately).
• Ensure timely delivery schedules while maintaining safety compliance standards.
• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery location.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the company vehicle.
• Keep all work areas clean and free of hazards.
• Rotate stock and assist with delivery preparation.
• Load and unload a truck with a hand-operated jack pallet.
• Operate a forklift to move and organize equipment.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Associates in this role are required to regularly use electrical cables, hand tools, a magnifying glass, spot welders, automotive and electronic testing equipment, as well as a company vehicle.
