Tireco Distributors (TD) is seeking a Driver in Portland, OR to safely deliver tires and wheels using a company truck, while delivering friendly customer service and handling loading/unloading, returns, and payments. The role may involve warehouse assistance and forklift operation.

Ideal candidates have a valid license, DOT compliance readiness, and the ability to cross state lines. 21+ and insured under the company policy are required, with potential for advancement.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license; some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical; be at least 21 years old; eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required
• Able to be insured under company driving policy
• Able to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift
• Able to manually move tires between 30–80 lbs daily; 80lbs+ requires a team lift
• Preferred - 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels using a company vehicle; provide friendly and professional customer service
• Load and unload product; manage product returns and keep vehicle clean
• Assist in warehouse orders and loading/unloading trucks; operate equipment such as forklift
• Raise the line for payments and ensure completion of deliveries while maintaining DOT compliance

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.
