Job summary

Tireco Distributors in Portland, OR is seeking a reliable Driver to safely deliver tires and wheels, provide excellent customer service, and help in the warehouse.

You will load and unload, collect payments, manage returns, and keep your company vehicle in top condition, with occasional forklift operation. Cross-state deliveries may be required.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license; some states may require a Class D license.
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical; be at least 21 years; eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required.
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift.
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily; 80lbs+ requires a team lift.
• Preferred - 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $21.00 - $21.00 Hourly

Travel Percentage: Road Warrior

JOB TITLE: Driver

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.
