Job summary

Red Jacket Beach Resort in South Yarmouth, MA is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport employees between housing and the resort, maintain punctuality, and support daily operations.

You will operate shuttle vehicles safely in all weather, perform routine inspections, coordinate servicing, and communicate with Front Office leadership about schedules and service changes. This role requires a valid license and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Previous driving or transportation experience preferred.
• Experience in a resort, hospitality, or large-scale operation environment preferred.
• Strong reliability, time-management, and safety focus.
• Comfortable operating vehicles and coordinating routine servicing needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport employees between designated housing locations and the resort.
• Maintain punctuality to support staffing requirements and daily operations.
• Operate shuttle vehicles safely in all weather, traffic, and seasonal conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professional presentation of shuttle vehicles.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections (fuel, fluids, tires, safety).
• Coordinate refueling and basic servicing, including fueling and maintenance needs.
• Follow resort procedures for billing, receipts, and documentation related to fueling/servicing.
• Report maintenance issues or delays to Front Office leadership.
• Communicate shuttle schedules, route changes, or interruptions to management.
• Treat all employees with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.

Description

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport employees between designated employee housing locations and the resort in accordance with established shuttle schedules.
• Maintain strict punctuality to support departmental staffing requirements and daily operations.
• Operate shuttle vehicles safely in all weather, traffic, and seasonal conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professional presentation of all shuttle vehicles.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, including monitoring fuel levels, fluid levels, tire condition, and overall vehicle safety.
• Coordinate refueling and basic vehicle servicing, including transporting vehicles to approved gas stations and service centers for fueling, fluid top-offs, oil changes, and routine maintenance as directed.
• Accurately follow resort procedures for billing, receipts, and documentation related to vehicle fueling and servicing.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or operational delays promptly to Front Office leadership.
• Communicate clearly with management regarding shuttle schedules, route changes, or service interruptions.
• Treat all employees with courtesy, professionalism, and respect at all times.
• Adhere to all resort policies, safety protocols, and Front Office operational standards.
• Adapting driving and speed to weather and traffic conditions
• Assist with additional transportation or operational tasks as assigned.
