Reily Foods Company is seeking a Direct Service Representative in Wilmington, MA for 1st shift. You will deliver orders, prepare trucks, and assist customers while maintaining DOT compliance and safe practices. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered for this full-time role with early 5:00am starts and local delivery routes.

The position emphasizes accurate order fulfillment, professional customer service, and reliable on-time deliveries, with overtime possible to meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of delivery driving experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Prepare truck for operation including loading, securing, and verifying orders.
• Deliver orders via efficient routes to meet time frames and customer needs.
• Assist customers with new orders and address issues promptly and professionally.
• Collect payments and record transactions with customer signatures.
• Inspect truck equipment and report maintenance needs per DOT guidelines.
• Attend meetings and training programs.

Job Summary

The Direct Service Representative works with other members of the distribution team to increase company profitability and customer satisfaction by delivering complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to the company’s customers. The driver will represent the company in a highly professional, safe and cost-effective manner that complies with DOT and other applicable regulations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Prepares truck for operation by assisting in and overseeing the loading of trucks, securing of items and verifying the accuracy of customer orders.
• Delivers orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customers’ needs. This may include stocking and rotation of product on specific routes.
• Assists customers with new orders and respectfully handles issues in a timely manner.
• Collects payment for products delivered, makes necessary changes, and records transactions on proper paperwork obtaining customer’s signature. Delivers payments to manager at the end of shift.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water daily. Alerts management of necessary or required maintenance/repairs needed on the delivery vehicle in a prompt manner. Completes daily post-trip vehicle inspection report according to company policy and DOT guidelines.
• Attends company meetings and training programs.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with customers, complete required paperwork, follow safety instructions, and comply with DOT requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsQualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of delivery driving experience, preferably delivering products to a retail or customer facing environment.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past three years.
• Forklift certification helpful.
• Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays, as needed to complete deliveries.
• Customer service attitude with good communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds daily.
• Basic math skills.
