Job summary

Jimmy John's in Willmar, MN is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver for evenings (4pm–9pm, Mon–Fri) and weekends. Primary duties include delivering sandwiches, handling payments, and assisting in-store when deliveries are slow.

Starting at $14/hour with tips and mileage reimbursement; limited use of company vehicle for delivery and a free sandwich as a perk are included.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and write the English language well enough to effectively interact with customers, fellow employees and supervisors as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have had at least two years of driving experience in the United States.
• Must currently possess a valid unrestricted driver's license from the driver's home state.
• Must have had no more than two moving violations in 24 months and no more than one "at fault" accident.
• Must maintain in full force and effect at all times liability insurance in an amount not less than the financial responsibility requirements of the driver's home state.
• Must use for deliveries a vehicle that meets the driver's home state's requirements regarding safety, registration and license plates/tags.

Responsibilities

• Takes phone orders and completes delivery tickets in a courteous and timely manner.
• Delivers sandwich orders to customers in a safe, courteous and timely manner in established delivery area only.
• Accepts payment from customers for orders.
• Works with management at the end of the shift to reconcile cash from delivery sales.
• Makes fast, accurate and consistent sandwiches.
• Complies with all portion sizes, recipes, and all systems and procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including all tables, floors, windows, beverage station, restroom, etc.
• Greets customers and takes orders – operates cash register – collects payment from customer and makes change.
• Fills out systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity.
• Maintains professional appearance at all times in compliance with the Jimmy John's Dress Code.
• Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Job Summary: We are looking for drivers to work evenings (4pm to 9pm) Mondays through Fridays and Weekends (afternoon/closings). Hourly, plus tips and drivers reimbursement (and a free sandwich!!)

Delivery Drivers' primary responsibility is to deliver sandwiches to customers in the designated delivery area. Drivers are expected to check all products for accuracy against quality standards and deliver products to customers in a safe, courteous and timely manner. Drivers will also work as an inshopper when no deliveries are scheduled.
