Job description

All Occasions, a prestigious event company located in Eighty Four, PA, is seeking CDL & Non-CDL Drivers for deliveries in the tristate area. As a Driver, you will deliver equipment and materials to our clients’ event locations, load and unload trucks, and complete setup/teardown at delivery sites, working closely with our dispatch team and your delivery assistant.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate fleet vehicles including box trucks up to 26 ft
• Set up and tear down event equipment such as tents, tables, furniture, and appliances
• Load and unload deliveries accurately according to invoice
• Handle equipment properly to prevent damage
• Operate warehouse equipment like pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts
• Complete Driver’s Daily Logs and reports
• Assist clients with questions and troubleshoot issues, escalating to Dispatch as needed
• Follow routes established by Dispatch for timely delivery
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and FMCSRs
• Maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues
• Service clients professionally and courteously
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license in good standing; DOT Medical Certification required; CDL desired but not required
• Previous experience in similar roles or warehouse environment preferred
• Maintain professionalism in demeanor and appearance
• Familiar with local roads and able to read maps
• Pass background check, drug screen, and DOT physical
• Availability to work weekends and overtime
• Meet physical requirements
• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• High patience level
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written)

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Work on the road and in warehouse environments
• Lift, push, and pull up to 70 lbs
• Full range of motion and dexterity
• Sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for up to 8 hours
• Work outdoors and indoors in various conditions, including extreme temperatures
• Drive a 26 ft box truck safely in diverse weather and road conditions
