Peak Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Driver to coordinate and transport patients to and from the facility, appointments, and special events. The role emphasizes safety, crisis management, and clear communication with the multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include transporting visitors and staff, ensuring seatbelt use, documenting transport activity, and reporting to the oncoming shift. On‑call duties and vehicle maintenance responsibilities are also part of the position.
Driver is responsible for coordinating and safely transporting patients to and from facility programming including appointments, activity trips, airport shuttle service and other special events in a punctual and timely manner. Also provides monitoring and reporting of patient behaviors, crisis situations, and medical emergencies as needed as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team. Transports visitors or staff as needed.
High School Diploma or GED required, OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. One or more years’ relevant work experience in behavioral facility preferred.
Valid and in good standing state driver's license required. CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification may be required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
This position is onsite at the facility and is not a remote position.
