Job summary

Fellowship Square is seeking a reliable Driver to join our team, providing safe transportation for senior residents to medical appointments, outings, and activities. You will help set up for events and support residents during trips.

The role requires a valid Commercial Arizona Driver’s License with a P endorsement, a clean driving record, a high school diploma, and a willingness to work weekends or evenings. Prior experience with seniors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and events.

• Maintain records of transportation schedules and special needs.
• Set up and help prepare for resident activities and events.
• Coordinate with team members for transportation needs and schedule changes.
• Follow safety and traffic regulations.

Job description

We are currently seeking a reliable and friendly Driver to join our team and assist in providing excellent transportation services to our senior residents. As a Driver you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to medical appointments, outings, and other scheduled activities.

In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents while fostering a warm, and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to transportation, you will assist with setting up for activities, ensuring our residents enjoy a full range of experiences.

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and other scheduled events.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and ready for use at all times.
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules, destinations, and any special needs.
• Assist with setting up and preparing for resident activities and events.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate transportation needs and schedule adjustments.
• Follow all safety and traffic regulations to ensure a smooth and secure journey.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff, providing excellent customer service.
• Valid Commercial Arizona Driver’s License with "P" endorsement (or ability to obtain prior to employment) and a clean driving record.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience driving larger vehicles (e.g., passenger vans or buses) is preferrd but not required.
• Previous experience working with seniors is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, patient demeanor.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with seniors.
• Ability to lift and assist residents as needed, with the support of other team members.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends and evenings when needed.
