Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a driver to transport residents on scheduled trips and events within the community. You will monitor vehicle conditions and coordinate maintenance as needed to ensure safe, reliable transportation.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and the ability to assist residents in and out of the vehicle while maintaining cleanliness and reporting any mechanical needs promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience driving a large vehicle (van, bus, or truck).
• Valid driver’s license to operate the building’s vehicle.
• Clean driving record per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents on scheduled trips and events.
• Monitor vehicle condition and coordinate maintenance as required.
• Ensure residents are returned safely to the building.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle.
• Maintain interior/exterior cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Report mechanical needs and coordinate repairs.

Job description

Do you have HEART? In this role you will transport residents on scheduled trips and special events as well as monitor the condition of the vehicle and coordinate necessary maintenance as required.

Salary: $17 - $18 per hour

• Transport residents and perform community errands as assigned.
• Ensure that all residents who use the transportation are returned safely to the building.
• Assist all residents in and out of the vehicle as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle by performing and/or scheduling regular interior/exterior cleaning.
• Report mechanical needs and repairs and assist in coordination to have repairs completed.

• You have experience driving a large vehicle; such as a van, truck, or bus.
• You currently have a valid driver’s license to operate the building’s vehicle.
• You have a safe driving record in accordance with Senior Lifestyle company policy.
• You are able to drive a vehicle without being easily distracted by talking passengers, and other external factors.
