Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a part-time Transportation Driver to safely transport residents to scheduled trips and events, and to perform regular vehicle maintenance coordination. You’ll ensure passengers are assisted in and out of the vehicle, and that all residents return safely to the building.

The role requires driving a large vehicle, holding a valid license, and maintaining a clean driving record. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and more, with DailyPay optional.

Qualifications

• Experience driving a large vehicle (van, truck, or bus).
• Valid driver’s license to operate the vehicle.
• Safe driving record per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents and perform community errands as assigned.
• Ensure residents are returned safely to the building.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle (interior/exterior) regularly.
• Report mechanical needs and assist in coordinating repairs.

In this role you will transport residents on scheduled trips and special events as well as monitor the condition of the vehicle and coordinate necessary maintenance as required.

Job Description

Salary: $17 - $18 per hour

• Transport residents and perform community errands as assigned.
• Ensure that all residents who use the transportation are returned safely to the building.
• Assist all residents in and out of the vehicle as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle by performing and/or scheduling regular interior/exterior cleaning.
• Report mechanical needs and repairs and assist in coordination to have repairs completed.

Qualifications

• You have experience driving a large vehicle; such as a van, truck, or bus.
• You currently have a valid driver’s license to operate the building’s vehicle.
• You have a safe driving record in accordance with Senior Lifestyle company policy.
• You are able to drive a vehicle without being easily distracted by talking passengers, and other external factors.
