Job summary

Middleton Glen in Middleton, Wisconsin, is seeking a Part-Time Driver who delivers exceptional service to residents. You will transport residents safely to appointments, outings, and events while assisting them in and out of vehicles and maintaining accurate logs.

The ideal candidate has a valid driver's license, a safe driving history, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in driving, transportation, or customer service is preferred, with a focus on reliability and calm

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Previous professional driving or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate passenger and community transportation vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents safely to appointments, shopping, outings, and events.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles with excellent service.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, schedules, and transportation records.
• Support resident activities and outings while ensuring safe, comfortable transportation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Transport residents safely to appointments, shopping destinations, community outings, and special events.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles while providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, schedules, and transportation records.
• Support resident activities and outings while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable transportation experience.

About You

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record and the ability to meet insurability requirements.
• Previous professional driving, transportation, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles and community transportation vehicles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for serving older adults.
• Dependable, organized, and able to remain calm and professional in a variety of situations.
