Job summary

Goodwill South Florida TEP LLC in Miami, FL is seeking a driver to transport donated goods between collection sites and stores. You will operate straight trucks or tractor-trailers, load and unload as needed, and maintain a clean driving record.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, two years of straight truck or tractor-trailer experience, and a valid CDL Class A or B with Ryder Driver Certification. Knowledge of Miami-Dade roadways and DOT compliance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the DOT standards and regulations. Maintain a good driving record.
• Ensure good customer relations by consistently servicing Attended Donation Centers on time and acting courteously and professionally.
• Complete and submit the daily trip manifest upon returning to the dispatch office.
• All other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate the straight truck or tractor-trailer unit safely and efficiently.
• Report any vehicle problems or defects.
• Transport and deliver goods per schedule.
• Load and unload merchandise as needed at Attended Donation Centers, stores, and other locations.

Qualifications Education and Experience

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations

• A Current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.
• Ryder Driver Certification.
• Must pass the DOT physical certification and be updated every two years.
