Job summary

Palm Point Behavioral Health, affiliated with Universal Health Services, seeks a Driver/Transporter to move patients to and from the facility, ensure vehicles are in proper working order and clean, and provide high quality non-medical patient care during ambulatory transportation. This role emphasizes safety, route coordination, and collaboration with maintenance and clinical staff.

You will contribute to a friendly team within UHS’s network, gain valuable experience, and support patient comfort

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Satisfactory driving record per UHS Policy INS.1.05 (Corporate Fleet Safety Policy).
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transportation continuum.
• Coordinates patient pick-up and drop-off routes and completes daily mileage log.
• Ensures all safety measures are adhered to in the vehicle.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment in a clean, organized and ready condition after each transport. Reports equipment damage or malfunctions to the Director of Plant Operations.
• Assists with duties and assignments in the Maintenance Department as requested and assigned.

who will be responsible for transporting patients to and from the facility, assures vehicles are in proper working order and clean, provides high quality non-mdeical patient care and ambulatory transportation while providing exceptional customer service.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transportation continumn.
• Coordinates patient pick-up and drop-off routes and completes daily milage log.
• Ensures all safety measures are adhered to in the vehicle.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment in a clean, organized and ready condition after each transport. Ensures proper fuel, fluid and tire pressure levels at all times. Reports equipment damage or malfunctions to the Director of Plant Operations.
• Assists with duties and assignments in the Maintenance Department as requested and assigned.
