Job summary

Midway Auto Group is seeking a Vehicle Delivery Associate in Thousand Oaks, CA to deliver and pick up vehicles, greet customers, and ensure accurate vehicle condition reporting. You will explain features and assist customers throughout the rental process.

The role requires excellent communication, high energy, and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with a clean driving record and active driving history. Competitive hourly compensation and benefits are provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivery/Pick up vehicles and/or customers from various locations while maintaining professional and legal driving standards and expectations.
• Complete vehicle check in and check out forms in an efficient and accurate manner for disclosure of vehicle conditions. (i.e fuel level, mileage, damage)
• Wash/Clean interior and exterior of vehicles when needed.
• Greet each customer upon return of the vehicle.
• Be knowledgeable on vehicle fleet and be able to provide any additional information necessary on the operation of the vehicle and its features.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Passion for automobiles and working with the public
• Attention to detail and organized
• Pass background; inclusive of Pre-Employment Drug Test, SSN Validation, and Criminal Record
• Clean driving record with no drug or alcohol related driving incidents within a 5-7 year period; No more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years; No driving related suspensions or revocation of Driver License within a 5-7 year period. Will be subject to continuous Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring
• Minimum 3 years of license history and recent active driving

Compensation:

• $18.62-$20.12 hr
• The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, and education when applicable.
