Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is hiring a Driver to provide safe, caring transportation for seniors in San Mateo, California. You will assist residents in and out of vehicles, ensure safety, and perform regular vehicle inspections to uphold high standards of comfort and reliability.

Experience with safe driving, CPR as required, and strong communication are valued. Join a team dedicated to resident wellbeing and accessible, compassionate service.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED; age 21+
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• CPR certification (as required)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment
• Complete required driving logs and documentation
• Report resident changes in condition
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
• Assist with activities when not driving

Pay Range: 20.60 - 25.80
