Job summary

Father Joe’s Villages is seeking a reliable Driver to safely operate company vehicles, route pickups and deliveries of donated goods, and interact with donors and partners in a professional manner.

You will perform vehicle inspections, plan routes, and adapt to changing priorities while supporting warehouse and donation operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of experience operating delivery trucks or similar vehicles.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles along assigned routes to pick up and deliver donated goods and materials.
• Evaluate donations with donors, communicate what can be accepted, and handle items safely.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report maintenance issues.
• Plan daily routes with GPS and adjust for traffic or priority changes.
• Represent Father Joe’s Villages professionally when interacting with donors and community partners.
• Support warehouse, retail, and donation operations as needed to keep things moving.

As a Driver at Father Joe’s Villages, you’ll safely operate company vehicles, complete pickup and delivery routes, and work directly with donors, customers, vendors, staff, and community partners. You’ll be trusted to manage your routes, respond to changing operational needs, handle materials safely, and represent Father Joe’s Villages with professionalism at every stop.We are looking for someone who takes pride in being reliable, organized, safety-minded, and ready to jump in wherever the operation needs support.The RoleSafely operate company vehicles along assigned routes to pick up and deliver donated goods, merchandise, supplies, equipment, and other materials.Work directly with donors and other partners to evaluate donations according to the established guidelines, communicate what can be accepted, and handle materials carefully from pickup through delivery.Champion vehicle safety through comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues, and maintaining cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.Evaluate donated items according to established guidelines, communicate with donors about what can be accepted, and handle donations with care from pickup through delivery.Support warehouse, retail, and donation operations when transportation needs change, and work alongside your teammates to keep things moving.Plan and manage daily routes using GPS and other tools to complete pickups and deliveries efficiently and on schedule.
