Consolidated Electrical Distributors in San Diego is seeking a Driver to deliver and pick up merchandise from customers and suppliers, loading, unloading, and operating a 20'–26' stake body truck. You will perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate paperwork, while upholding a professional standard in all deliveries.

Role requires safe driving, reliability, and ability to work in a warehouse environment with outdoor conditions.

• Ability to inspect, maintain, and operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to load and unload a delivery truck from ground level or platform in a variety of warehouse and construction worksite situations.
• Ability to read and do math to correctly access warehouse materials for order picking, properly deliver orders, and correctly complete all paperwork for deliveries and pick-ups.

Summary:

Delivery drivers make local-area deliveries and pick-ups to/from customers and suppliers. Drivers complete job duties by preparing, loading, unloading, and operating a 20' 26' stake body truck;

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to inspect, maintain, and operate a motor vehicle.

• Ability to load and unload a delivery truck from ground level or platform in a variety of warehouse and construction worksite situations.

• Ability to read and do math to correctly access warehouse materials for order picking, properly deliver orders, and correctly complete all paperwork for deliveries and pick-ups.

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions.

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $22 to $23 hourly.
