Job summary

Standard Supply is seeking a Driver & Warehouse Associate in Texas. This hybrid role combines on‑the‑road deliveries with hands‑on warehouse work to keep operations running smoothly.

We value safety, reliability, and teamwork. The role requires at least 1 year of verifiable box truck driving experience, a clean driving record, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and the capacity to pass a background check and DOT exam.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a box truck or equivalent within the last three to five years of employment history.
• A clean driving record (no major or repeated violations).
• Read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and signals, communicate with law enforcement and document reports and records as required by the Federal Code of Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck safely and responsibly (at least 1 year of experience required).
• Deliver orders with professionalism and care—customer signature included.
• Need to be able to use a tablet for the delivery routes.
• Loading and unloading trucks with precision.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance checks and reporting issues to the branch manager.
• Pulling and preparing orders in the warehouse using a forklift or push-cart.
• Use RF Scan Gun Technology to perform daily tasks.
• Following all warehouse procedures for pickups and product handling.
• Pitching in with other tasks as needed—because teamwork makes the dream work!

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a box truck or equivalent within the last three to five years of employment history

• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly
• Comfortable sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, and moving throughout the day
• Able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, twist, and reach in high/low spaces
• Experience handling large, bulky, or oddly shaped items
• Willingness to pass a background check, drug screening and DOT Physical Exam
