Job summary

Standard Supply is seeking a Driver & Warehouse Associate in Texas. This hybrid role combines on‑the‑road deliveries with hands‑on warehouse work to keep daily operations running smoothly.

You will be essential to our logistics, delivering orders and supporting team efforts. Requirements include at least 1 year of verifiable box truck driving experience, a clean driving record, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a box truck or equivalent within the last three to five years of employment history.
• A clean driving record (no major or repeated violations).
• Read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and signals, communicate with law enforcement and document reports and records as required by law.
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly.
• Comfortable sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, and moving throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck safely and deliver orders with customer signature.
• Deliver orders on time with professional conduct and proper handling.
• Use a tablet to access and follow delivery routes.
• Load and unload trucks with care and efficiency.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report issues to the branch manager.
• Prepare and pull orders in the warehouse using forklift or push-cart.
• Utilize RF Scan Gun technology for daily tasks.
• Follow warehouse procedures for pickups and product handling.
• Participate in other tasks as needed to support team goals.

This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds - hitting the road to make timely deliveries and working hands-on in our warehouse to keep things running smoothly.

Your Day-to-day Will Include

• Driving a box truck safely and responsibly (at least 1 year of experience required)
• Delivering orders with professionalism and care - customer signature included
• Need to be able to use a tablet for the delivery routes
• Loading and unloading trucks with precision
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance checks and reporting issues to the branch manager
• Pulling and preparing orders in the warehouse using a forklift or push-cart
• Use RF Scan Gun Technology to perform daily tasks
• Following all warehouse procedures for pickups and product handling
• Pitching in with other tasks as needed - because teamwork makes the dream work!

What You Bring To The Team

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the physical stamina to thrive in a hands-on role.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a box truck or equivalent within the last three to five years of employment history

• Read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs and signals, communicate with law enforcement and document reports and records as required by the Federal Code of Regulations.
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly
• Comfortable sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, and moving throughout the day
• Able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, twist, and reach in high/low spaces
• Experience handling large, bulky, or oddly shaped items
• Willingness to pass a background check, drug screening and DOT Physical Exam
