Job summary

Advanced Recycling Technologies (ART) in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a safety‑minded Driver to move materials across facilities. You will operate a dump truck, load and unload, and perform routine vehicle inspections.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, and experience with heavy equipment. Strong safety practices and adherence to OSHA rules are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Commercial Class A CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dump truck safely between facilities and within the yard.
• Load, transport, and unload materials as directed.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and yard personnel.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.

Advanced Recycling Technologies (ART) specializes in the recovery of small, hard-to-capture non-ferrous metals from two primary waste streams: automobile shredder residue (ASR) and Waste-to-Energy (WTE) facility ash. With decades of proven industry experience, ART delivers innovative, and environmentally responsible solutions to extract valuable metal units from materials that have already passed through conventional recovery systems. The Driver will safely and efficiently deliver and pick up materials to and from different locations within the state in a timely and professional manner. This role may require loading, unloading, and coordination with equipment operators.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Must hold a commercial Class A driver's license.
• Must have a clean driver's record.
• Prior experience operating dump trucks or heavy equipment.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in an outdoor industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to sit, climb, and operate equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
