The Salvation Army USA Central Territory's Quincy Kroc Center is seeking a Youth Driver to safely transport school-aged children after school.

This part-time role offers a $18/hour pay, Monday–Friday 2:30–4:00 PM with summer hours, and a mission-driven team focused on safety, reliability, and positive youth engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Clean driving record with no tickets or accidents in the last 3 years.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Positive attitude and love for working with kids.
• Patience and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport school-aged children from local schools to the Quincy Kroc Center.
• Enforce safety rules with care and positivity.
• Be a friendly, trusted adult for the youth.
• Follow scheduled routes and ensure on-time pickups/drop-offs.
• Keep the vehicle clean and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain a calm, positive atmosphere while obeying traffic laws.

As a Youth Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring kids have safe and reliable transportation, helping them access the programs that make a difference in their lives.

What You'll Do

• Safely transport school-aged children from local schools to the Quincy Kroc Center.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of kids during every ride by enforcing rules with care and positivity.
• Be a friendly, trusted adult who brightens their day with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Follow scheduled routes, ensuring on-time pickups and drop-offs.
• Keep the vehicle clean and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain a positive, calm atmosphere while adhering to all traffic laws.
