Standard Supply and Distributing Company Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Driver & Warehouse Associate for a hybrid role that blends road deliveries with hands-on warehouse work.

The position requires at least 1 year of verifiable box truck driving experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. You will drive safely, deliver orders, manage loading/unloading, operate a tablet and RF Scan Gun, and perform basic vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a box truck or equivalent within the last three to five years of employment history.
• Read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with law enforcement and document reports as required by law.
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly.
• Willingness to pass a background check, drug screening and DOT Physical Exam.

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck safely and deliver orders with professionalism and care, including customer signatures.
• Load and unload trucks, and pull and prepare orders in the warehouse using a forklift or push-cart.
• Use a tablet for delivery routes and RF scan gun daily tasks.

Your Day-to-day Will Include

• Driving a box truck safely and responsibly (at least 1 year of experience required)
• Delivering orders with professionalism and care - customer signature included
• Need to be able to use a tablet for the delivery routes
• Loading and unloading trucks with precision
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance checks and reporting issues to the branch manager
• Pulling and preparing orders in the warehouse using a forklift or push-cart
• Use RF Scan Gun Technology to perform daily tasks
• Following all warehouse procedures for pickups and product handling
• Pitching in with other tasks as needed - because teamwork makes the dream work!

What You Bring To The Team

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the physical stamina to thrive in a hands-on role.

Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a box truck or equivalent within the last three to five years of employment history
• A clean driving record (no major or repeated violations)
• Read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs and signals, communicate with law enforcement and document reports and records as required by the Federal Code of Regulations.
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly
• Comfortable sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, and moving throughout the day
• Able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, twist, and reach in high/low spaces
• Experience handling large, bulky, or oddly shaped items
• Willingness to pass a background check, drug screening and DOT Physical Exam
