Job summary

Superior Plus Propane seeks a Propane Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of propane to customers. You will load/unload, maintain vehicle safety, and provide excellent service while following safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year delivery driver experience preferred.
• CDL Class A or B preferred for this role.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Current DOT medical certification required to operate commercially.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane to customers from containers and bulk trucks.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Use technology to monitor transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and to print delivery tickets.
• Record and submit daily driver reports; perform pre/post vehicle and site inspections.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher for routing and scheduling; report issues promptly.
• Overtime hours may be required; perform other duties as assigned.

The Propane Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Propane Delivery Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What you’ll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience preferred
• CDL Class A or B
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred
• Current DOT medical certification
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

The hourly rate ranges from $30.00 - 34.00 , with flexibility for highly qualified candidates based on industry experience, CDL/Hazmat endorsements, and technical expertise .

This role will be eligible for overtime pay once scheduled work week hours are met.

When applicable, this role is eligible for an on-call incentive stipend.
